Cricket Energy Bars

Boost your energy levels with our Cricket Energy Bars! Packed with protein and natural ingredients, these bars make the perfect snack for an active lifestyle. They are easy to make and great for on-the-go nutrition.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cricket flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the cricket flour, rolled oats, dried cranberries, chopped nuts, and sea salt.
  2. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, combine the almond butter and honey (or maple syrup). Microwave for 30-60 seconds until melted, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into a parchment-lined baking dish.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  7. Cut into bars and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
