Future of Food Foundation

Join us today in our mission to create a more sustainable and equitable future of food!

Our Mission

At FoFF, our mission is clear: to advance the adoption of sustainable protein sources such as insects, lab-grown meat, Nose to Tail, and algae. We strive to educate and empower individuals to make informed choices that benefit both their health and the planet. Through advocacy, outreach, and community engagement, we work towards a future where everyone has access to nutritious and climate-positive protein options.

Our Vision

Our vision is one of a world where sustainable food practices are the norm, not the exception. We envision a future where the consumption of protein is no longer synonymous with environmental degradation, but rather with sustainability and ethical stewardship. By promoting awareness, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation, we pave the way towards a more resilient and equitable food system for generations to come.

About FoFF

Welcome to the Future of Food Foundation (FoFF)! We are a non-profit organization dedicated to shaping a sustainable future for food production and consumption. Founded with a vision of fostering positive change in the way we source, produce, and consume protein, FoFF is committed to promoting innovative and environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional protein sources.

We aim to promote the use of new protein sources such as insects, lab-grown meat, and algae, with the specific goal of encouraging more people to consume climate-positive protein sources. Lab-grown meat produces 96% fewer greenhouse gases on 98% less land. Insects contain approximately 65% protein and have less developed nervous systems, which means they do not experience pain in the same way as animals traditionally used for food. By raising awareness about the environmental benefits of these new protein sources, the association intends to positively contribute to reduced greenhouse gas emissions. This is achieved through activities such as advocacy, organizing meetings, facilitating connections between producers of new protein sources, and hosting various physical and digital events. The association is open to people of all ages and backgrounds and actively works to combat all forms of discrimination.
